Great article Arik! The title says it all. Can you imagine carrying a device that had a MySpace button on it? This phone could fall into the embarrassing category if Facebook loses popularity (which some say is already happening).

What a great article Arik! There are many things I liked about the interview, but some of my favorites were his focus on good content more than commercialism, and that it takes a LOT of hard work over a long period of time. Success doesn't come in an instant to most people. What Mark has done is very impressive. Thanks for sharing his story with us.

Alan - I think we'll see this more and more. You might call it a paradigm shift, moving from career tracks to entrepreneurial tracks. I for one, love it!

Interesting concept, but I think it is good that the "employees" are students so they don't have to earn a living from it. I would suggest building it into a Facebook app where it will get more exposure, and then try to drive advertising off it.

I applaud the students for taking the initiative to create the service. We need more entrepreneurs creating new services and coming up with new ideas. I wish them well.

If you're serious about using Spring Metrics on your client sites, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. We'd love to have you participate in our beta program - or just get together sometime to talk about marketing and analytics. Thanks again!
